Youth Lacrosse Equipment Handouts



Equipment handout for The Town of Dryden's In-House Lacrosse Program will be Monday April 16th behind the Town  Highway Dept at 65 East Main Street.  The program runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 04/17/12 until 05/25/2012 for grades K-6. (Grades K-2 will be the little sticks program and the youth program will be grades 3-6).

Dryden will also have  3-4 and 5-6 teams that will participate in the Upstate Lacrosse association travel league. Registration is underway and continues until May 23rd.

Dryden Lax Coverage in the Journal

Boys Lacrosse
Chenango Valley 13, Dryden 7: Jordan Zehr netted a hat trick and added two assists, but the Purple Lions couldn't stick with the Warriors, who outshot Dryden, 24-17, and outscored the Lions 4-2 in each of the last three quarters.
Matt Federation and Joe DeLucia scored two goals apiece and Ross Cole added a goal for Dryden, which got nine saves from Jeff Pelletier.
David Ferry scored five goals for the Warriors.

Girls lacrosse

» Seton Catholic 9, Dryden 3: Liz Walters scored two goals and Alison Thomas one for the Purple Lions (2-1), who got 14 saves from Marissa Ramos. Taylor Farrell had five goals and Alyssa Ricci three for the Saints (4-5), who outshot Dryden, 26-10, and turned the ball over just four times to the Lions' 24.
